July 29, 2013

Hola mi Familia,

Here I am chilling in a library in Canutillo, Texas.  This week has been long but it was a good week.  As I told you in a short letter, I got here on Monday.  That day was long but it was enjoyable.  It was probably the only chill day I really had on my mission.  I pretty much just sat around the whole day and didn't have to worry about doing something.  I did have to go knock some doors with a missionary I was assigned to in Albuquerque and, oh my, that was an adventure.  The missionary turned out to be pretty nice and now he is in my zone.  So as we were tracting we walked by a park and there was a couple or who knows what making out and doing more than just making out.  He turned to me and said, “That's yours.”  I immediately was like, “Are we are really going to go up to them?”  In my head I was thinking these people are not in the right mindset to receive a message about Christ or the Gospel right now.  He said, “Yep, let’s go teach them.”  He was dead serious.  I walked up to them.  This is the first time I have ever tried to teach the gospel, and words just came out, and I told them that our church was the only true church and stuff.  I immediately looked at the missionary for more help, and he went off, and that was good.  They weren't interested in any short of religion, so that was fine. We just walked away, and who knows where they went after that.  They don't teach you that in the MTC.  Maybe they should open a course for how to teach people who are making out and not in the right mindset.  That was an adventure.  We then walked and knocked a circle and only one guy answered.  He said he was on the phone and he was busy, so we left him a card.  We walked to the next house and I was noticing that most houses had a huge gate in front of the house that was locked and then a porch and then the door.  They have doorbells by the gate.  I asked him why they have the gates, and he said ABQ isn’t the safest city in the world and is pretty dangerous in spots.  So that answered my question, and I learned that I am not in safest city in the world.

After tracking we went back and just chilled at the mission home.  That was cool. Oh, I forgot.  As I was driving in the van to the mission home when I was picked up, the AP was talking to us and he was telling us all about the areas he has served.  He was a Spanish speaking missionary.  He was telling us about this one area that is an hour outside of Santa Fe where he served.  The city is called Espanola.  He was telling us how it was the narcotic capital of the world.  He said you walk down the streets and they are just covered in needles.  He also told us you teach someone one day and go back, and they are dead cuz they overdosed.  So ya, New Mexico has it all.  It will pretty interesting if I have to go up that way.  That night I had to go with the AP to drop the Hermanas off at the places where they were sleeping.  So I got to see ABQ, and that was cool.  It’s a crazy city and full of differences.  I spent the night at Elder Van Leuwen’s apartment, Tracy and Lori Duckworth’s nephew.  That was way cool that we met up.  I got voted for the floor, and I was fine with that.  I slept on the floor, and this other Elder had to sleep on the floor, and then another Elder got to sleep on a bed.  All of my buddies from the MTC were in the AP apartment, which was a walk away from us, but I was bummed I wasn't with them.

The next day we had transfers and, yep, I was one of the three Elders that got to head down south.  That was a cool drive.  There wasn’t much to see but desert and more desert.  I got to see the chili fields, and that was cool.  We drove into El Paso and, oh my, the city is nuts. Mexico is so ghetto on the other side.  I could see it.  But ya, as you know my area is the Canutillo area, which is part of Anthony, Texas.  It is so different here than home.  It is pretty much trailer homes, shacks, or really nice houses if you have dough.  I spend most of my time in the trailer homes but sometimes we go into the nice houses.  Trailer homes are quite an experience.  It is amazing that people life in that long shaped thing.  My apartment or house is way nice, and I am happy I live there.  It is on First Street and H Street or something in Canutillo.  My trainer is a trainer.  He is almost done with his mission.  One day during the week supposedly you can play basketball or sports with less actives or investigators, but on one day during studies he was like go get ready we are going to play basketball with this kid who was a member but less active.  So we went to play basketball at this rec center that was pretty far away, and when we got there the gym was closed.  So we drove to another rec center that was pretty far away, and that one was closed too.  He then drove us and this member back to Canutillo and to get a basketball, and then he drove us back to the first one.  We got done playing basketball, and then drove back, and then our water was off.  So we didn't start teaching till forever.  It made me upset.  Later that night after dinner we drove back home and we sat there for like 45 minutes.  I was like, "Hey when is our next appointment.”  He said not till 8:00, and it was 6:50.  I asked if we had any before, and he said “no” because we used a lot of miles today.  That sent me to the roof, and I was ticked.  I was saying so many prayers.  It turns out we taught someone before 8:00 after all, and that was cool.  I think I have said more prayers than in my whole life this week, just so we can teach someone and not waste time.  When we teach I love it, and makes me happy.  But when you are spending time just sitting it sends me to the roof.  I wasting time and there are people who are just waiting for the gospel in their life.  So that's the only thing that bugs me.  But other than that, he is a pretty cool dude.  He likes to talk a lot, and I don't say much in lessons.  I think I have said like a couple of sentences, and that’s about it.

Our investigators are cool.  We are teaching this one guy named Jorge.  He has been baptized and had the priesthood, but we are getting him so he can get the priesthood back.  His girlfriend that he is going to marry soon is the one who we are working with to get baptized.  Jorge is an ex- gang member, and he is huge and has tattoos and chains.  He has the look that he will kill you.  But he is probably one of the nicest persons I have met.  I love him.  They are the only really good investigators right now.  All the others are weird but good.  We need to go tracting to get more, so hopefully we will do that this week.

The food has been interesting but good.  You eat jalapenos straight up down here.  So I have been popping chilies straight up, and that's been fun.  But everything is good down here, and I am trying to work hard, but I feel like me and my companion could do more.  I might have to run here really quick, but the rain down here is nuts.  It has been raining so hard during the day and nights.  You should see it.  I love the rain down here.  It sounds like everything is going well at home.  The concert sounded way good, and I am bummed I didn't see it.  But I was there in spirit.  Tyler hit hard in football and go hard.  I am bummed I don't get to see you play but I will be there for you senior year so get huge for that.  But everything is good here.  I love you guys tons and miss you tons.  Keep saying hello to my friends and tell that I miss them tons! Keep it real! Miss you tons!

Mom and Dad,

This is going to be a quick email but I made it safely to ABQ.  It’s nothing but desert and more desert.  I am in a little city in Texas right by the borders of Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico called Canutillo, near Anthony, Texas.  Mexico is outside my window every morning, and I see a lot of border patrol around.  We live in a house that is white with red shutters, kind of on a dirt road.  It is nice, with a big shower, so that is good.  It kind of feels like Mexico, but you teach families that are Spanish and English.  There are a lot of trailer parks, and my city has drug lords that have a lot of dough and build crazy mansions but not in my area.  I mostly have shacks and trailer homes but a few regular type homes.  My first dinner of the mission was in a shack.  It was awesome.  My trainer is from Alaska, and his name is Elder Bryan Mason.  He is pretty cool.  I still have no clue what I am doing, so hopefully that will change fast and hopefully the Spanish will come.  My p-day is on Monday so you should hear from me then.  Oh, you can send me packages and mail to PO Box 1697 Anthony, Texas 88021.  It’s been raining really hard down here so I got some stories for you! It is hot but it has been raining every day, and it’s nuts when it rains.  The lightning is insane too.  Last night there was a bolt going off every second, and a couple days ago we were driving on a street that was a river.  We have a car because our area is big.  Love you tons and miss you!!

Hola Familia!!
You’re probably wondering why the heck you’re getting an email from me on Saturday.  Today we have a p-day thing because we have to do our laundry and pack for Monday.  So while waiting for my laundry to get done I thought why not send you a quick note.  You guys sounded like you’re having the time of your life in Sun Valley and then Portland.  I wish I was with you guys but I am out here doing the Lord’s work, and I couldn't be more grateful to do it.  But the one thing I wish I could have seen was John Mayer jamming out on stage.  But the t-shirt will do when I get home.  This week nothing too special happened.  I have been mostly getting ready to leave on Monday.  I have been getting some stuff in the book store and we had this long meeting on Thursday.  Thursday we had the in-field orientation thing.  It was the longest thing I have ever attended.  We had to show up at 8 and we were there til 5:30.  It was so long.  I was really tried at the end of it.  It probably was the longest meeting of my life.  But it was all good info to learn.  The worst thing about it was probably the play they did at the end of it.  It took me back to Camp Hunt and the Scout head people trying to be funny, but they just couldn't.  I will tell you more about it on Monday.  I got to host Jake VanB this week.  That was a treat, and I loved it.  I saw his car pull in, and I just walked with it until it stopped.  And he jumped out and gave me a hug.  I missed him so much.  It was awesome.  I have been seeing him a lot lately, and that’s way nice.  Every night I try to go to his residence to see how he is doing but the past two nights I haven't been able to.  I am going to try and sent a pic of me and him - hopefully it will send.  We will talk more on Monday, and I hope it’s not crowed at the airport and I can get a phone.  I miss you guys tons and can't wait to hear you voices.  Have an awesome rest of the trip!  Love you tons!

Buenos Dias Mi Familia,

It sounds like things are doing all good on the home front.  I am bummed that I am not going to Sun Valley and Portland with you guys.  That sounds like a blast and it is going to be so much fun up there.  The new bishop Kelly sounds awesome and he will do amazing things for the ward.  I am happy Mitch is in it too.  He will be a stud in that position.  I am happy Coop Dog gave an awesome talk.  I knew he would.  He is such a stud and going to be an amazing missionary out there.  Give him a hug for me before he leaves, please and give him my love.  I truly love that guy and he is a stud.  We have been writing a lot.  He has been keeping me in touch with everything and we talk about the mission.  He told me he was going to give his talk this week and I wish I was there.  Nice job on the lesson mom, I knew you would deliver something amazing like you always do.  You give the best lessons and the Relief Society is blessed to have you in there.  That is awesome that Mrs. Ross called you.  She is an amazing lady and that was nice of her to say my talk was good.  I didn't think it was that great.  You'll have to give her my address in the field because I don’t think it would get her in time before I take off to Nueva México.  I wish I was in Myrtle Beach chilling on the sand.  That is great she is now there.

Not much happened here this week, just the same routine.  We are wrapping things up in my classes and we are down to the final days in the MTC.  I think I have never hated eating so much in my life.  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are the times of the day I hate most.  The only good part of it is getting mail.  The food here is so gross and I just can't eat it anymore.  It so bad for you and there is nothing good that comes out of it.  It is straight crap, and I wouldn't be surprised if in the kitchen they just take dumps on the plates and spray paint it with colors and hand it to you.  Ahhhhhhh it’s nasty.  It will be the best surprise when I get to sit down in New Mexico and have my first meal.  I hope it’s pretty dang good Mexican food.  When older people here at the MTC ask us where we are going we tell them New Mexico and all the say is we’re going to get some great Mexican Food.  They don’t talk about anything else but that.  So I am excited.  When I was getting my immunizations checked out, the lady that was helping me ask where I was going, and I told her New Mexico.  She then told me that she lived there for a while and had amazing food there and at McDonald’s they ask you if you want green chiles on your burger, so I couldn't be more excited for that.  That place is going to become my little slice of heaven.  I can’t wait to teach people and change their lives.  I can’t wait to roam the desert in the blazing heat trying to find Walter White and his gang selling some blue.  That place is going to be the best, and I could not care less that I am going stateside.  That’s where the Lord wants me, and he needs me there.

Oh congrats on the anniversary!!!!! 31 years - that is pretty awesome and you guys aren't getting old.  You'll always be young and full of life.  I miss you guys tons.  This week like I said there wasn’t much that happened.  The only really exciting thing that happened was I got my flight plans.  So I leave on Monday at 5:30 am from the MTC to the airport.  So I should get there around 7ish or something like that.  I don’t know how long it will take me to check in and stuff.  I am flying on Delta flight 4462 to ABQ.  My plan takes off at 9:52 so I am guessing I might have an hour to talk to your or something.  My plane arrives at 11:36 in ABQ.  It’s only an hour and a half flight which will be nice and enjoyable.  I am happy I am not flying all day somewhere in the world.  I have a few questions for the airport.  So I have to pay $60 for my bag fees.  I think it’s also another $80 if my bags are overweight, and I remember they were when we weighed them at home.  Should I put some of the stuff I have in the suitcases of the guys in my room or just pay the fees?  I know I have that money that you gave me, is there also money on my card?  I have no clue what to do and I am kind of stressing cuz they are overweight.  I also don’t have my passport.  Do I need it or am I good?  I forgot to grab it before I left home.  I also am almost out of laundry soap so should I just wait till I get to New Mexico and buy some or do you want to send me some? I know you’re leaving so I don’t want to stress you out.  Also should I get more Zout in New Mexico?  I am almost out as well.  But ya, we are really doing it Har.  We are just about there to the end of my MTC experience and it has been one heck of a ride.  It’s so good to be almost done with it.  I hope my trainer is good and I am in a good area.  Oh, when I hosted this week I didn't see anyone, and I still haven't seen Michael D.  We were also selected to host this week as well, so I hope on my life I host Jake VanB.  He told me he is coming in at 2:00, so if you see him tell him I will be out there waiting for him.  Tell him I am usually at the front of the whole line, and I can’t wait to see him.

Class is the same and no crazy subs, except our air conditioning has been out in our classroom, so on Sunday we had 5 fans going.  It was pretty awesome.  Oh also I forget to tell you that we haven't been going to the temple for like 3 weeks cuz it’s been closed for cleaning.  So that sucks major.  We have had the most chilled p-days, and it’s a bummer that it’s closed cuz it gave you something to do on that day.  But hopefully when I get to New Mexico I get to go to the temple.  Today I am going to get my hair shaved so wish me luck.  They told me I had to get one before I leave.  Hopefully my head doesn’t go in some guy’s crotch like what happened to Sean.  It’s going to be an adventure, and I will have a lot to tell you about next week.  Oh ya if you are going to write me on dear Elder this week do it before Thursday because it takes a day to get to me, and they are closed on Saturdays.  If not just email me, and I’ll get back to you.  If you don’t hear from me next week, I am probably still alive.  I don’t know how crazy next week will be so don't worry.  Give the Beary a scratch for me.  Tell my friends hello and I miss them tons.  That’s awesome Taylor and Tessa stopped by.  They are awesome girls.  Sean and Andrea, you guys are in for a treat with Carly and Ashlyn.  That will be a fun time.  They are way fun to be around.  Wendy, good luck at girls camp and everything and going to Atlanta.  Scott, take care of Beary for me and get the FIFA world cup game when it comes out for me. Thanks for all the letters and stuff you guys are great.  Tyler McFly, keep it steezy for me and continue to be a stud.  That’s awesome you got a hat for being the hustler on the lacrosse field at camp.  Just keep doing what you do out there.  I can’t wait to hear about football and stuff.  You’re going to be a stud out there.  I am going to try to write you this week so check your email or the mail.  Keep it real! Have so much fun in Portland and Sun Valley.  Catch a duck for me or go to the candy shop where me and Tyler would always go.  That place was the best.  Also go bowling for me.  That bowling alley is the best and so awesome.  Swim at the round pool for me. Give John Mayer a high five for me.  I wish I was going. Tyler, is there any good music out these days?  Well, you'll hear from me on Monday in person.  Expect a call kind of early in the morning.  Oh did you get the phone card? Keep it steezy at home for me and keep spreading the Stinny D Light Love.  I love you guys more than anything and you’ll hear my voice shortly! Have a good week!

Hola Familia,

How is everyone doing? It sounds like everything is going good at home and everyone is one piece.  This week at the MTC was a good one.  It’s going by so fast and I am way happy that it’s going fast.  The food here is probably the worst thing that I have ever tasted.  I am to the point where I just want my Mexican food and an ice cold Diet Coke.  Last night was probably the worst food night here.  They had cod nuggets and all this gross crap.  I went for two bowls of cereal, Fruit Loops, which were amazing, some vending machine food at the apartments, and your candy.  So ya I am going to be happy when I get some Mexican food in front of me with some green chiles.  Every night the elders in my district talk about how excited we are for the food in New Mexico.  The 4th of July here was alright.  We had class till about 7 and then we had a devotional that night.  The devotional was good.  This one guy talked and it was a good, short talk about the Lord and patriotism.  After they surprised us with 17 Miracles, which is the closest thing to a real movie I am ever going to see in 2 years.  It was a good show and I enjoyed it for the 3rd or 4th time I have seen it.  After they told us that we got to stay up past our bedtime and watch the fireworks.  They were cool but you couldn't really see them so the Elders in my District watched them for a little bit and then went to bed.  The next day was good but I was tried.  I have never thought in my life that 10:30 would be late for me.  If I am not in bed by then everything feels way too late and the next day sucks because you’re tried.  So I guess that missionary schedule is starting to change me.

Also this week the crazy Spanish teacher who touches your leg and gets way excited over Spanish came into our class again.  When our teacher, Hermano Green, came in to teach us that day he said we have that guy coming in again to observe my teaching so act good.  I immediately busted out laughing because that teacher just cracks me up.  Everyone in the District asks me to do my impersonation of the guy because supposedly I can do it really well.  Everyone laughs afterwards, but my impression really is not even that good.  But that teacher came in and I was trying so hard not to laugh the whole time cuz he just makes me laugh.  The class went good and he didn't talk much so I was happy.  But then at the end he whipped out his iPad and was like, “Elder Smith, can you pronounce this word for me?”  I have a hard time pronouncing “esperanza,” which means “hope” in Spanish.  He wrote it on the whiteboard app that he has on his iPad and the whole class immediately started laughing because he wrote the word that he was trying to get me to say the time before and it was just funny.  I think he was wondering why the heck the class was laughing.  It was just a funny thing but he left and the day went on.

Another day this week our new teacher didn’t show up and that was bad.  We had 4 hours of personal study so that sucked.  The next day we had a sub and she reminded me of Mrs. Frizzle on the Magic School Bus.  She was definitely a treat and I think she hated me because I am the kid who likes to laugh and make it fun for everyone.  I am pretty sure she thought I should not be out in the mission field because I don’t take this work seriously, but I do, and I like to have fun with it.  Just like you told me before I walked away - work hard but have fun.  That’s my motto everyday - work hard but have fun.  After she cracked the whip she said she would be back tomorrow but she didn’t show up and that was a Christmas miracle.  I thought she looked like Mrs. Fizzle on the Magic School Bus because she showed up to class in a jungle dress, and I was
going to say, "Wait - are we going on a bus to the jungle this week to learn Spanish?" But I told myself I couldn’t say that or she would flip even more.

Our new teacher showed up and he is a way cool dude.  I like him a lot.  He shows us he cares about us and we are all in the same boat to learn the gospel and Spanish.  He came in on the first and gave us Elders big hugs and gave handshakes to the Hermanas. This week we as a district were teaching an investigator as a whole district, and the teacher said “pause” and asked our thoughts on how it was going.  I piped in and said I think it sucks and we should not be jumping into the lesson that soon.  I continued on my rant and said we hardly know this guy in front of us, and I felt impressed to say that I feel like there is something bothering him in his life and we need to find that out.  One of the Hermanas who we don’t like very much flipped out and started saying this and that, and Elder Rodriguez came in and jumped into the deep water I just got myself into.  He said that as a ward missionary he came to find out that you can ask those questions and you need to ask them to find out what going on in the person’s life and how to teach them.  I absolutely love Elder Rodriguez.  He is one of the coolest guys I have met along with Elder Hurren.  Me and Elder Rodriguez talk forever at night and he is a stud.  She then just shut up and didn’t say anything.  Afterwards I felt like we should apologize, and Elder Hurren, our new district leader, came up with the idea that we would just have a share your thoughts time at the end of the night.  So during that we said “sorry” and she started crying, and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad.

I am a Host missionary this week so maybe I’ll pick up Michael D at the curb.  That’s going to be a fun time at the curb, and I am just going to grab the Elder and just say, "Come on Elder, an adventure is waiting you and you'll see them again shortly!"

During the week I also had a cool experience that I want to share with you guys.  I have been praying really hard to be able to understand the scriptures.  During personal study time I was reading, and all of a sudden they made sense, and I love reading them now.  There are so many good stories.  I was reading in Alma where Ammon is cutting the dudes arms off and converting the King.  I was reading in Alma 18:34, and I loved were Ammon said this, "I am a man; and a man in the beginning was created after the image of God, and I am called by his Holy Spirit to teach these things unto this people, that they may brought to a knowledge of that which is just and true."  So I love that scripture, and I highlighted it in different color cuz it stuck out so much to me.  I think how we are called by the Holy Spirit to a calling or as a missionary, and we need to teach people what is just and true.  So I can’t wait to teach people in New Mexico and teach them what is just and true.  I also want to say one more thing before I have to finish because I am about to go overtime.  That’s funny Mom that you were teaching in our Sunday school class about Satan this week.  I was reading Joseph Smith’s testimony in the first part of the Book of Mormon.  He said that Moroni told him in one of his visits with him that Satan is going to try to stop this work to the fullest extent of his power.  We watched the Joseph Smith movie on Sunday, and it testified to me that Satan tried to do that, and all the mobs and evil people were Satan trying his hardest to stop it.

That’s about it for me.  I also get my flight plan this week so I’ll let you know my flight information when I get it. Oh I am sending pictures too.  Love you guys.  Tell my friends hello and the girls too.  Tell them I am doing good and miss them every day.  That was nice of Tessa
to invite you to the movie with her and the girls.  She is awesome.  I miss you guys and love you tons.  Give the Beary a scratch for me! Keep it steezy in Holladay for me! Love you!!!

With Love,
-Elder Smith

July 1, 2013

Familia,

I was so stoked to write you and to have p-day come this week. I just am sitting waiting for my clothes to dry and so I thought I better write you.  This week has been nuts as usual.  I think I had the hardest day at the MTC this week.  It sounds like everything is going good at home and everyone is in one piece.  I am in one piece also, which is a good thing.  I still can’t believe I have almost lasted 3 weeks down here at the MTC.  It’s weird to think how fast things go here.  This week was crazy like I stated above.  I think it was on Monday when I broke an Elder’s arm in Basketball.  Haha!  I shouldn't laugh but he tripped on my shoe in basketball and hit the court hard.  Once he hit I grabbed him right back up.  I thought he was fine and he would shake it off.  But I was sitting in class and I looked out the door and he had a sling around him.  I was scared to go up to him but I manned up and talked to him.  He was totally cool about it and didn't care that he tripped on my foot.  He said it could happen to anyone.  It turns out he broke his elbow.  So yep that’s one thing that happened to me this week.

During one of or class sessions we were taught by this dude at the MTC while our teacher took notes.  His Spanish I couldn't understand at all.  It was weird because I usually pick up words or sentences sometimes but with this guy I couldn't pick up on anything.  I felt like I was more in a Spanish class rather than learning with the spirit and being taught that way.  I came out of that class with my brain fried to the max.  I couldn't focus the rest of the day.  After that guy taught we had dinner.  But after dinner we had class with our awesome sister teacher Hermana McKay.  I think I told you in my first letter about the investigator we were teaching.  She turned out to be our teacher and she is awesome beyond belief.  She has made class so much better and I love being taught by her but it turns out she is leaving us for the Mexico MTC so we had to say goodbye to her yesterday and that sucked.  I was happy when that day was over because it was the worst.  And it turned out no one in the class could understand that guy.  I had to laugh because he didn't carry the spirit at all just a head full of crazy Spanish that he tried to make us learn.  I was happy when he walked out of that class room.  That was probably the worst day I have had at the MTC.  But I got a blessing that night when the District Leader got the mail and there was a letter to me from Nate Adams.  As I was reading it, it was exactly how I was feeling at the moment.  It's crazy how you get things at the right time that you need right then.  It helped me out a lot and he is a stud and he would be a great Bishop.

Sorry I had to stop writing for a minute because I had to get my laundry.  But the rest of the week was pretty normal.  Just hard work every day and trying to take a whack at the language.  Also this week on Sunday a branch presidency member Brother Jeffs asked if he could talk with me and I said sure.  He sat me down and called me to be in charge of the Sacrament on Sunday.  I accepted, so it looks like I have to organize the Sacrament on Sunday and make sure people are able to say the Sacrament prayer in Spanish when I can hardly say it.  So I'll let you know how that goes for me.  I know the Lord called me to do it for a reason so I am excited to see why.  Elder Hurren and Elder Rodriguez are such cool dudes.  I wish you could meet them.  It's awesome to see how our personalities go so well together and we are all in the same room.  The Lord definitely put us together for a reason.

Tessa sent me some cookies and they were the best.  I am sending her a letter today to thank her.  I have been really busy and haven’t had the chance but I will for sure today send her one.  She is an awesome girl and can you tell her thanks as well from me?  That’s awesome that Jake V gave an awesome talk.  I knew he would deliver.  I miss him and every one of my friends, but I have made some new ones down here.  Give my friends some love from me and tell them I miss them.  That’s awesome Tessa stopped by to loan you a movie.  I'll send Daney a note because it sounds like he needs a note.  Oh I saw my mission president one last time before he left for New Mexico and he got a picture with all the Elders in my District who are going to New Mexico.  He gave me a hug and a pat on the back and he told us he can’t wait to work with us.  Yes my companion is going to New Mexico and all the Elders in my room.  The Hermanas in my District are going to Alabama.  But I am doing great!  I can’t wait to hear from you guys again! Have an awesome week and just know you’re in my prayers and I miss you guys.  Keep it steezy at home for me! You guys are the best! Keep spreading the Stinny Love!

Love,

Elder Smith
